THE DISCONTENT SERIES
The Discontent collection is to be a series of multimedia images detailing the mental and psychical afflictions that I have had the displeasure of experiencing. As of right now, the series is currently in progress. That being said, because the possibility of having to encounter said misfortunes looks to be continuous, this series will always be ongoing.
Each composition included in the series is either going to be an illustration made with various materials (such as: acrylic paint, inks, and soft pastels) or an edited photograph and, in some of them, a combination of the two. For example, in a handful of these images an illustration I drew is cut out and used as a prop in a photoshoot prior to the manipulation I put that photo through. Throughout the collection, the audience will often see a daily monochrome illustration with the main element highlighted with vibrant color. However, since the creation of each piece made for the series will vary, the process of the overall project will be irregular.

A total of twelve completed compositions were on display at the George Mason University's Art & Design Senior Exhibition: Tabula Rasa, from December 5th, 2022 to December 10, 2022. In addition to being featured in Tabula Rasa, I also oversaw the construction of the website from the exhibition. VIEW HERE
